Tbilisi Among CNN's 7 Cities to Watch in 2018

Georgia’s capital Tbilisi is among the 7 cities to keep an eye on in 2018. In an article originally published by the Spaces, by author Emily Wright, later re-published on CNN, Tbilisi is called “the Hollywood hipster hotspot.” 

“Something has happened in Georgia's capital over the last 18 months, earning it the title of the "Lisbon of 2018." An almost overnight must-see destination, the city increasingly becoming one of the world's most coveted hubs for fashion, arts and creativity has a newly elected city mayor -- former footballer Kakha Kaladze - and will have a budget of $334 million next year to focus on transport and infrastructure”, Emily Wright says, noting that the city is well known for its Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, techno music and wine; also mentioning that the city is new to the cultural scene whilst David Lynch, famous director and producer, visited Tbilisi this November, “for talks around opening a cinema institute in the city.”
