Sports and adventure (extreme) tour to Tobavarchkhili Lake (3 nights/4 days)
Tour for a group of at least 10 persons.
Beautiful silver lake Tobavarchkhili is set in Megreliya, 45 km away from Mukhuri Resort. We will see the most picturesque views during our trip. This hiking tour is rather challenging due to the hidden location of the lake. Thus, participation implies you’ll spend a lot of energy.
Day 1: Arrival to Kutaisi, check-in
Attractions visited: Mukhuri Resort, where you’ll taste famous Lugela mineral water. We’ll get into an incredibly beautiful cave Shurubumu covered with moss, and then head to the glacier as high as 3000 m above the sea level. After a 10 km walking, we’ll set up a camp to recover.
Dinner by the fire.
Day 2: Okhodzhe Lake
Attractions visited: after an early breakfast, we’ll continue hiking in the direction of Okhodzhe Lake walking along marvelous forestry and, having passed about 1/3 of the route, we’ll reach the so-called “Shepherds’ hut” wherefrom the Alpine Belt extends and the snow-covered Caucasus Mountains are seen. In 4-5 hours, we’ll stop by Okhodzhe Lake.
Spare time (rest, camping, photo shoot).
Day 3: Tobavarchkhili Lake
Attractions visited: after an early breakfast, we’ll start out to conquer Tobavarchkhili Lake. When crossing the sky-high mountain pass, you’ll face the incredible landscape and beautiful nature and will take the stunning commemorative pictures. We’ll camp out by Tobavarchkhili Lake, where you’ll have a rest and enjoy fabulous views.
Spare time (camping, hunting photography, walking). Dinner by the fire.
Day 4: Khobistskali River Valley
Attractions visited: we’ll cross 3000 m mountain pass and descend to the beautiful Khobistskali River Valley. After several hours of hiking, we’ll walk along the Alpine meadows, leafy and conifer forests; at the end of the route, you’ll be taken to the comfortable hotel by car.
Dinner. Departure flight from Kutaisi.
